Expert seamstress Joyce Feickert brings more than thirty years of experience to the art of design and tailoring. Her passion began at an early age while growing up in South Dakota, where she first discovered her love for fabrics, color, and craftsmanship. That early spark led her to pursue extensive education in the fashion and design industry, eventually taking her to the heart of the New York garment district, where she refined her skills among some of the industry’s best.

Joyce’s career has also taken her across the globe, gathering inspiration from international fashion houses, textile markets, and cultural design traditions. These experiences continue to influence her work today, adding depth, creativity, and sophistication to every piece she creates.

Now, Joyce and her husband, Marvin Kirchler, have returned to Tucson — bringing her exceptional talent and global perspective back to the community she calls home.

At Hem & Her Bridal, Joyce’s true passion shines through in her custom designs, where she collaborates closely with clients to create one-of-a-kind gowns that reflect personal style and vision. In addition to her custom work, Hem & Her continues to offer a beautifully curated selection of destination wedding dresses, prom and pageant gowns, men’s suits and elegant evening wear, ensuring every customer finds something extraordinary.
